ABOUT Purbanchal Concast

Purbanchal Concast Private Limited (PCPL) was established in 2011 to manufacture mild steel pipes, hollow sections, profiles, guides and structurals to meet the ever increasing requirements of the infrastructure and engineering industries. The objective was to build an integrated facility from Blooms/billets to the finished products.

PCPL is strategically located off the Asian Highway near Siliguri having an easy access for to and fro movements. Currently the production facility is spread over nearly 200,000 sq ft of covered sheds and adequate space is still available for future expansion.

The downstream facilities include coil slitting, tube making, end facing, profiles & guides. The straightness and the weld joints meet national & international specifications. Being a quick size changing mill with spare cassettes the down time is minimized offering flexibility to meet varied requirements of the customer.

The steel melting shop equipped with all equipments from Electro Therm India Ltd. And high speed rolling mills, tube mills with electrical equipment from Fuji Gemco Indo-Japan, AS Mechanical India and GMT Industries with Metoweld India. Due to superior designs, appropriate layout and automation, higher production level can be achieved with consistent quality for all products.

The company has received BIS licenses for IS 1161, 1239, 3601 and 4923. It has well equipped physical and chemical laboratories for testing chemical properties, tensile strength, flattening test, drift test, crushing test, bend test, hydrostatic test, etc.

PCPL is an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standard Certified Company having a strong domestic customer base and exports to nearly half dozen countries.
