If that does not work. Try repairing office: Click on the Start button in Windows, or type control panel in the search bar. Click on uninstall a program, click. You should see something like: Microsoft Excel (Safe Mode). If the Office app doesn’t start in Safe Mode, the problem isn’t with add-ins. Try repairing Office. “We’re sorry, but Word has run into an error that is preventing it from working correctly. Word will need to be closed as a results.
